Mass of Christian Burial for Linda Eisenbacher, 77, of Armstrong, will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 9, 2025, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church n Armstrong with Father Paul Kelly officiating. Interment will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Armstrong. She passed away on Jan. 5, 2025, at the Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, S.D.
Linda Lou Eisenbacher, was born on March 19, 1947 in Estherville, Iowa to Ralph and Nellie (Work) Craig. She was the youngest of seven children.
Linda attended Armstrong Schools. On March 27, 1965 she was united in marriage to Sylvester Eisenbacher at St. Mary’s in Armstrong. The couple made their home in Armstrong, where Linda was a homemaker for the first 13 years of their marriage, taking care of their children. When the children were all old enough for school she worked part-time.
Linda was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Armstrong. Linda enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and making blankets. She was also an amazing cook and baker. She was always cooking and baking for the family, especially her famous homemade brownies. You never left her table hungry.
Linda is survived by her husband of 59 years Sy of Armstrong; her children David (Sue) Eisenbacher of Fairmont, Todd Eisenbacher of Armstrong, Marie (Jay) Mugge of Oro Valley, AZ, Bruce Eisenbacher of Armstrong, Dale Eisenbacher of Armstrong, Amy (Jeremy) Bussell of Spencer; her granddaughters Paige, Morgan, and Mackenzie Eisenbacher, and special granddaughter Victoria Bussell; and great-granddaughter Avery. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law: Donna Frasier, LaDonna Craig, and Lila Craig; brother-in-law Joe (Laura) Eisenbacher; and many nieces and nephews.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents: Ralph and Nellie Craig; all her siblings: Lila, Lowell, Loren, Loretta. Ladean, and Lyman; her father and mother-in-law Roman and Viola Eisenbacher; many brothers and sisters-in-law; and niece Paula Mart.
